Why .ws ?

4 reasons:

  1. Because the .com is still taken. I killed my web brand in 2023 (on purpose); one distraction less. To realise afterwards, I cannot adapt the slugs of all my profiles. Oops.
  2. It’s included in the $10 per month professional WP hosting service of GDI. Recommended by captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner). See nterview
  3. Needed a nerdy domain to deploy my plugin and opensource services on. Outside my other online presence.
  4. Stone Evans his PIPS system came along; which features GDI as an income stream. 1+1=11. Lets go!

For the past 9 years I’ve hosted most of my domains at DCC (see prior link). Including these .WS domains which are connected to my high frequency VPS servers.
